Role of Injectors in Drip Irrigation
Date: 21-04-2022What is Drip Irrigation?
The drip Irrigation is the artificial application of water as per the daily need of the plant directly to the plant root zone. Here drip irrigation is a low pressure operation usually having operating pressure of 1 Kg/cm2. Amongst the few brands famous for Drip Irrigation System Manufacturers & Suppliers in India, the Kothari group stands tall for its best quality and highly efficient drip irrigation system.
Need of Injector
Since the plant is a living thing, it needs air, light, water & nutrients. The air & light are natural & we are using drip system for water application. For supplying nutrients, the role of injector is very important in drip system and this needs to be taken into consideration by the drip irrigation system manufacturers.
In order to remove physical and biological impurities, it is also necessary to use the filtration For removing chemical impurities & biological impurities, we need acid treatment. Here, the Injectors play the major role in acid treatment.
Types of Injectors available with Kothari
Types of Injector includes
- Kothari Fertigation Tank
- Kothari Venturi Injector

- Venturi Injectors controlled / adjustable suction of fertilizer.
- Fertigation is based on proportionate principle.
- Uniform application of fertilizer.
- In-built check valve for protecting the injected liquid against back flow.
- With rotometer one can measure / read accurate suction of fertilizer injection rate.
- Rotometer available in all sizes.
- Saves energy & man power.
- Delivers plant nutrients directly into the crop root zone.
- Can be used with a large variety of chemicals.
