Strengthening Irrigation Infrastructure at Scale.

Kothari Agritech Private Limited successfully executed multiple Underground Pipeline Irrigation System projects for Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Ltd. (Limbdi), Gujarat) under the SSP Command Area. Completed during 2018–19, the project covered 14,982 hectares through 315 individual Chak work orders, with a total project value of ₹67.70 Crore.

The project involved the supply, installation, and testing of an underground pipeline network for sub-minor irrigation, replacing conventional open canal distribution with a modern and efficient water delivery system. This infrastructure significantly reduced conveyance losses, achieving 30% water savings while ensuring reliable and efficient irrigation across a large command area.

By strengthening the canal distribution network, the project improved water-use efficiency, enhanced irrigation reliability, and supported sustainable agricultural development. It stands as one of Kothari Agritech’s landmark irrigation infrastructure projects, demonstrating the company’s capability to deliver large-scale, high-value water management solutions that create long-term benefits for farming communities.
